UNICBLUE assisted Marco Buschmann, leader of the FDP party in Gelsenkirchen, with the communication strategy for his political campaign. The strategy and concept focussed on communication through digital channels. With our support, Buschmann improved from an extremely weak base in 2012 of 1.7% to 6.7% in the first round of voting and from 3.0% to 9.2% in the second round.

On Facebook, Buschmann gained over 5,000 fans in a span of five months, including 1,500 from the city of Gelsenkirchen alone and his average reach rose to 50,000 impressions.
