A part of our history cast in concrete

It was in 1997 that UNICBLUE planned and built this office building for itself in the Bauhaus style in Gelsenkirchen, Willy-Brandt-Allee 320. The aim of the clear design with exposed concrete, glass and wood was to reflect the company’s values: transparency, solidity and structure.

In 1999 and 2000 the building received several internationally renowned architectural awards and it attracted much interest among architecture faculties for many years subsequently. Our own collaboration as a team was hugely promoted by the creative ambience on the inside. From the customer’s point of view, the building’s statement had the effect of a rocket launch for their assignment. These factors also reinforced the growth of UNICBLUE in the years that followed. As time went on, the only drawback was that the building sadly became much too small in terms of its space and infrastructure. Originally designed for 16 employees, by the end there were nearly 30 people working there. In December 2012, UNICBLUE moved to Zechenstraße 34 in Gelsenkirchen. This model of outstanding architectural quality in Gelsenkirchen was sold to STÖLTING in April 2013.
